General Manager-North Western Railway and other higher officials are monitoring the situation from the control room at the headquarters in Jaipur.

Eight coaches of the Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur Suryanagari Express train derailed between Rajkiwas-Bomdara section of Jodhpur division at 3.27 am today in Pali, Rajasthan. The CPRO of North Western Railway said that there was no information about any loss of life. Railways has sent an accident relief train from Jodhpur. 

The CPRO said that higher officials are expected to reach the spot soon. General Manager-North Western Railway and others

The CPRO said that the passengers and their relatives can also contact on 138 and 1072 for any information. 

While 8 coaches derailed. A total of 11 coaches have landed. A woman has been reported injured in the train, who has been admitted to the hospital. There is no information of any casualty yet. 

Later the train stopped. We got down and saw that at least 8 sleeper class coaches were derailed. Within 15-20 minutes the ambulance arrived. 

Two trains cancelled, 12 trains diverted

More than 150 scout guides going to participate in Jodhpur's Jamboree were also aboard the train. There were a total of 26 coaches in the train. Railway, police and administration officers are present on the spot. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the incident. North Western Railway has canceled two trains on Jodhpur route and diverted 12 trains after the accident.
