UP: Ban on leave of policemen from October 15 to November 20, decision taken regarding festivals

All employees working in UP Police will not be able to take leave from 15th October to 20th November. This means that they will be able to get leave only after Diwali.

DGP Vijay Kumar has banned policemen from taking leave in view of the upcoming festivals. According to the order issued by DGP to all DG, ADG, Police Commissioner, ADG Zone, IG Range, GRP, PAC, leave will not be given to policemen from 15 October to 20 November in view of Durga Puja, Dussehra, Deepawali and Chhath Puja.

This includes all types of holidays. In special circumstances, prior permission of higher authorities will be required for leave. This decision will not be applicable for special holidays.
