Indian Army Officer Recruitment UPSC CDS-1 Notification 2023 Out: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the detailed official notification of Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam-1, 2023 on its website upsc.gov.in. With this the admission application process has also started. The UPSC CDS-1 exam will be conducted on April 16, 2023, for admission to 341 vacancies in various courses in various Indian Military Institutes. The courses will start in January 2024. Qualified candidates will be issued an e-admit card three weeks prior to the commencement of the examination.
UPSC CDS-1 Exam can apply till January 10
The online application process for UPSC CDS-1 2023 has started from today and interested candidates can apply till 6 pm on January 10 at the official website upsconline.nic.in. Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 200 for the application. However, women/SC/ST candidates are exempted from fee payment. Candidates are advised to read the detailed notification given on the official website carefully before applying.

UPSC CDS-1 Exam 2023 Educational Qualification
For admission to IMA & Officers Training Academy, Chennai, a candidate must possess a degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.
For admission to the Indian Naval Academy, a candidate must have a degree in engineering from a recognized university/institute.
For admission to Indian Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, a candidate must have a degree from a recognized university with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or a bachelor's degree in engineering.
Process to apply for UPSC CDS-1 Exam 2023
Candidates first go to the official website upsconline.nic.in.
Go to 'OTR' for examinations of UPSC and apply online and click on the apply link.
Part-1 Fill the Registration Form, pay the fee and upload the relevant documents.
Select your nearest exam center and submit the application form.
Download the form and take a print out for future reference.
