Union Minister Kiren Rijiju graced the ‘Sant Ishwar Samman Samaroh’ event organised by the Rashtriya Seva Bharti and Sant Ishwar Foundation earlier today. The event was held to honour individuals and organisations who have dedicated themselves to the service of the nation, making significant contributions to society through their selfless efforts.

Addressing the gathering, Kiren Rijiju expressed his admiration for the noble work being carried out by various individuals and organisations in the field of social service. He said, “I am always in search of good people and organisations so that we can learn something from them and, in coordination, we could do something for the service of the country. I believe we need organisations like the Sant Ishwar Foundation that are committed to the upliftment of society and the well-being of people.”

Rijiju’s words highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in driving social change. The Union Minister appreciated the efforts of Rashtriya Seva Bharti and Sant Ishwar Foundation for their continued service to society and the values they uphold. He remarked, “The work these organisations are doing is inspirational, and it is only through such noble endeavours that we can make a positive impact on the lives of the people, especially the underprivileged sections of society.”

Honouring the Unsung Heroes

The ‘Sant Ishwar Samman Samaroh’ is an annual event that recognises the exceptional contributions of individuals and organisations to society. Those honoured at the event have been instrumental in promoting education, healthcare, rural development, and spiritual well-being, among other areas of public service. The event serves as a platform to acknowledge the selfless dedication of these heroes who often work behind the scenes without seeking recognition.

In his speech, Kiren Rijiju extended his congratulations to the recipients of the awards. He said, “I extend my congratulations to all those who are honoured today. You are the true pillars of our society, and your efforts are what keep the moral fabric of our country strong. I am grateful to all those who are a part of the Sant Ishwar Foundation, and I appreciate their dedication to selfless service.”

Empowering Social Change

Rijiju further elaborated on the role of such organisations in empowering communities and fostering a spirit of volunteerism. “The spirit of service and sacrifice is deeply embedded in our culture,” he said. “Organisations like Rashtriya Seva Bharti and Sant Ishwar Foundation are a testament to this spirit. They not only contribute to nation-building but also inspire others to join in this noble cause.”

Highlighting the government’s support for such initiatives, Rijiju assured that the central government is always ready to work in close coordination with NGOs to serve the nation better. He encouraged the younger generation to get involved in social service and contribute to the country’s development.

Moving Forward Together

The event concluded on a positive note, with Rijiju emphasising the importance of collective effort in addressing the challenges facing the country. “Together, we can create a better future for our country. I believe that by learning from each other and working together, we can make India stronger, more compassionate, and more resilient,” he said.

The ‘Sant Ishwar Samman Samaroh’ not only celebrated the achievements of those who have contributed to society but also served as a reminder of the power of service, unity, and dedication to a greater cause.
