The weather has taken a turn in Delhi-NCR. People got relief from the heat due to the rain.

The weather in Delhi-NCR took a sudden turn on Monday morning. It has started raining in many areas of Delhi NCR. People got respite from the scorching heat due to the rain and the weather became pleasant. Due to rain, a drop in temperature was also recorded. According to the Meteorological Department, till June 22, the temperature will remain between 38-39 degrees and the minimum temperature will remain between 27 to 29 degrees.

The weather had changed on Saturday as well

Even though the effect of Biparjoy cyclone has reduced in Gujarat, but from Friday its effect and western disturbance were also seen in Delhi-NCR. On Saturday too, the weather pattern changed in Delhi in the evening. It rained in some areas with strong winds. Due to this people felt some relief from the heat. Earlier on Friday also the weather had taken a turn in the afternoon.

The hide and seek of clouds and sunshine continued from morning to evening on Saturday. The maximum temperature was recorded at 39.2 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature was 27.6 degree Celsius. Pitampura recorded 40.5, Pusa 40.4 and Sports Complex 40 degrees Celsius, while other areas remained below 40 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be light rain till June 19. During this, strong wind will blow at a speed of 35-45 kmph. Till June 22, the temperature will remain between 38-39 degrees and the minimum temperature will remain between 27 to 29 degrees.
