Zomato made an advertisement, in which Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan orders Mahakal's thali and says that he wanted to eat thali, ordered it from Mahakal.

Online food delivery company Zomato is once again in controversy regarding one of its advertisements. The dispute increased so much that there is a demand for FIR against the company. Even within a short time, Boycut Zomato started trending on social media.

What's in Zomato's Ad

Zomato made an advertisement, in which Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan orders Mahakal's thali and says that he wanted to eat thali, ordered it from Mahakal. In the advertisement, Zomato said that 'If you are hungry, call, Mahakal's plate will come in 5 minutes'.

Huge ruckus on advertising

Huge ruckus has started on Zomato's advertisement. Pujari M Sharma in Mahakaleshwar temple has given a statement on this and said, Zomato has hurt our sentiments with the advertisement. If there was any other society then Zomato would have set the company on fire. We are tolerant people so no action was taken. There should be an FIR in the matter. At the same time, Hindu Janajagruti Manch has also condemned the advertisement and objected, saying, Mahakal is not a servant who delivers food. God is he is worshipped. The Hindu Janajagruti Manch raised the question and said, can Zomato insult the God of any other religion.

Zomato apologizes after the ruckus

After a huge uproar over the advertisement, Zomato has apologized and removed the advertisement. The clarification was given by the company and it was said, we respect the sentiments of the people of Ujjain. Advertisement has been disabled. The company said, through the advertisement, our intention was not to hurt anyone's sentiments. I apologize for the ad.
