Céline Dion adds more concerts upon her return to the stage
The Canadian singer has a total of 26 recitals at the La Défense Arena after exceeding 9 million requests in the pre-sale phase
The Céline Dion phenomenon has no limits. Faced with a massive and unprecedented response from his followers, the Canadian star announced this Monday the addition of 10 additional dates to his long-awaited return to live music.
According to the information shared by the singer, the new concerts will take place between May 8 and 29, 2027 in the French capital.
These new presentations are part of the 16 recitals that the artist had previously scheduled for the fall of 2026, between September 12 and October 17.
With this expansion, Dion will offer an impressive total of 26 shows in the La Défense Arena pavilion, a venue located northwest of Paris with a modular capacity that reaches 45,000 spectators.
As detailed by the organizers, the expansion seeks to respond to a colossal demand, reflected in the more than 9 million registrations registered during the pre-sale.
To manage the acquisition of new tickets, the organizers will enable exclusive access slots on a staggered basis between this Wednesday and Friday. These will be limited to fans who were already registered on the waitlists of the performer or the venue itself.
At 58 years old, this series of concerts will mark his definitive return to shows, something he had not done since the spring of 2020 in New York due to the pandemic.
The singer was later forced to suspend her “Courage World Tour” after being diagnosed with stiff person syndrome (RPS). This rare neurological condition, which impairs muscle control and vocal cords, has kept her under a demanding physical rehabilitation process.
Although her last public appearance occurred at the iconic opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games from the Eiffel Tower, this 26-night residency will mark the diva's definitive reunion with her audience.
