These criminals used to smuggle cattle from Gorakhpur to Bangladesh by stealing them. Smugglers are earning crores by transporting these animals to Bangladesh via Bihar and West Bengal. Recently, in the Tiwaripur police station area of ​​Gorakhpur, smugglers attacked them when the police stopped them. SP City told the media that on Wednesday night, the police had received information that a gang of cattle smugglers had come to Gorakhpur. After which the police started siege from place to place and searched the vehicles. When the police tried to stop these smugglers by siege, they opened fire on the police team. In retaliation, the police also opened fire and started a siege to catch these smugglers. The police arrested these animal smugglers from near Domingarh.
SP City has told that Vishal and Kamlesh Yadav of Gorakhpur used to do recce of animals on bikes. On his information, Zulfikar Amir and Sahil, residents of Kushinagar, used to come to Gorakhpur and steal animals. When the police tried to stop them, these smugglers also used to attack. During interrogation, the smugglers told that they used to sell animals to traders at Madhopura fair in Bihar and this trader used to send those animals to Bangladesh via West Bengal. During interrogation, he told that there is more demand for animals in Bangladesh. He also told that most of the animals used to steal were cattle. At present, on the basis of the interrogation of these smugglers, the police is looking for both the cattle traders of Bihar.
