Ranchi: The Hemant government of Jharkhand approved many big proposals in the cabinet meeting yesterday. In which the State Heart Medical Scheme is also prominent. Under this, treatment of 1000 patients of the state will be free in the hospitals of Ahmedabad and Rajkot. All these patients will be treated at Sai Heart Hospital, Ahmedabad and Sathya Sai Heart Hospital, Rajkot. Let us tell you that yesterday the cabinet nominating Prashanti Medical Service and Research Foundation approved to sign an MoU with the Health Department.
Children between three months and 18 years of age will be treated free of cost at the Sai Hriday Hospital in Ahmedabad and those between the ages of 18 and 65 in Rajkot. Screening of patients will be done at the district level. Secretary Vandana Dadel said that a total of 29 proposals were approved in the meeting.
Honorarium of contract workers increased in MNREGA
In the cabinet, it was decided to revise the monthly honorarium of the regional officers and employees working on contract under MNREGA in the state. Under this, the honorarium of various office bearers and employees has been increased. The honorarium of a Block Program Officer with less than five years experience has been increased from Rs 19,500 to Rs 23,140. In this category, the honorarium of Gram Rozgar Sevak has been increased from Rs 7,500 to Rs 11,000. Similarly, the honorarium of other categories has also been increased.
Increase in the amount of state MLA scheme
The cabinet decided to increase the amount of the State Legislator Scheme. Approved on the proposal of increasing the amount of the MLA scheme by one crore rupees. Earlier, Rs 4 crore per MLA per financial year was given under the scheme. Now a provision of Rs 5 crore will be made annually for every MLA.
