On Sunday, there was chaos in Roop Nagar Colony, Loni, Ghaziabad, to demolish the lenter of an under-construction building. It is being told that many laborers are buried under the lenter. According to preliminary information, the fire department has taken out six laborers, while two have died. Rescue is on to save other people.
The laborers who were pulled out by the rescue team have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. DCP Ravi Kumar reached the spot and inspected the spot. Police is currently seeking information about the owner of the building.
It has been learned that no safety equipment was provided to the laborers working at the site under construction. At the same time, it is also being suspected that the quality of the material used in the construction was also not of the highest standard.
Talking to the media, the DCP informed that about 10 people have been reported buried. Six people have been taken out. Two people have died in the incident. NDRF team has been called for rescue on the spot.
