The White House explodes against Gavin Newsom for “neglect” to California and then travel to Europe again
The White House reproaches Gavin Newsom's governor for neglecting California's problems for traveling to Europe to criticize Donald Trump
The White House severely criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom for making two trips to Europe in less than a month instead of addressing the problems of a state where public debt multiplied during his administration.
In Washington, the 58-year-old Democrat's comments referring to President Donald Trump as the most destructive in all of American history caused discomfort. These comments were made during his participation in the Munich Security Conference in Germany.
“I hope you understand that Donald Trump is not just a temporary president, but he might be one of the most un-American presidents to ever reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I truly believe that. And I don't say that lightly,” Newsom stated. His party member, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, joined him in urging European leaders to be patient with the pressure Trump is exerting on members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
"We are watching our presidential administration tear apart the transatlantic partnership and destroy every democratic norm. Relations with our allies are strained. Our commitment to and demonstrated consistency with democratic values ????and human rights are also incredibly strained," the New York representative stated. In response, through a statement issued to the New York Post, White House Press Secretary Anna Kelly criticized both Democrats for breaking the promises they made to those who voted for them, by traveling across the Atlantic to rail against Donald Trump before people who don't even know them. "Gavin Newscum and AOC should be solving the many problems in California and New York, but instead, they are frolicking in Europe, where nobody knows or cares who they are. Fortunately, Americans will always have strong leadership in President Trump."who works day in and day out to defeat inflation, secure our border, deport criminal migrants, and restore peace through strength," he noted. In early January, Gavin Newsom's office announced that California faces a budget deficit of $2.9 billion. However, the most troubling aspect here is that,Despite increased revenue driven by stock market gains and investments in artificial intelligence, the nation's most populous state faces a multi-billion dollar budget deficit for the fourth consecutive year.
