The president of the United States, Donald Trump, maintains his trademark “TRUMP HOME” registered in Venezuela, according to his most recent asset declaration released by the Office of Government Ethics (OGE).

The document details that the brand is registered with the Venezuelan Autonomous Intellectual Property Service (SAPI) in several classes of products related to household items, including kitchen utensils, tableware, textiles and household objects.

The statement identifies multiple consecutive registrations under the name “TRUMP HOME”, all with “registered” status in Venezuela.

The document does not indicate that the brand is currently in commercial use in the country nor does it report income associated with its exploitation in Venezuelan territory.

The asset statements of senior officials in the United States include intellectual property assets, such as trademarks in different countries, regardless of whether there is active commercial activity or not.

This is the first time that the president includes the presence of his brand in Venezuela in a heritage declaration, coinciding with the resumption of relations between both nations since the capture of Nicolás Maduro on January 3.

Trump's new net worth declaration, released on June 29, shows a strong weight of cryptocurrencies in his income portfolio.

According to the document, the president obtained more than $1.4 billion linked to digital projects, mainly through his family company World Liberty Financial and the sale of assets and licenses associated with cryptocurrencies and memecoins.

The 927-page report also reflects income from brand licensing, stock investments and real estate businesses, in a portfolio that exceeds $2 billion in total income.
