Without a doubt, the Guadalajara forward never measured the consequences of his comments against women when he said last Friday: "They want a provider, but cleaning is patriarchal oppression," which began to generate general animosity in the public opinion.
But the end came 24 hours later when Javier Hernandez returned to the charge to criticize the feminine gender: "Women: you are failing, you are eradicating masculinity, making society hypersensitive. Embody your feminine energy by caring, receiving, nurturing, multiplying, cleaning, and sustaining the home, which is the most precious place for us men."

The sanctions
In response to all of these statements from the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, West Ham United, Sevilla, and LA Galaxy player, the Gender and Diversity Commission of the Mexican Football Federation imposed a fine on the forward, without establishing the amount of the punishment.

In this statement, The FMF established the following: "The comments that the Chivas player made on his social networks promote sexist stereotypes that are considered media violence and that go against gender equality in sports, "determining to impose a financial fine and a warning on Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez in the sense that this Commission will take more severe measures in case of recurrence."
