Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Terence Crawford will have an extra incentive to win in the long-awaited fight they will hold this Saturday at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas when the World Boxing Council (WBC) puts into play a historic and spectacular ring that will go to the winner of this battle.
On one hand, Crawford will seek to maintain his undefeated aura to take over the four titles held by Mexican boxer Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and which he will obviously seek to preserve in order to continue dominating the privileged position of the World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and the World Boxing Organization (WBO).
A fight where for both boxers there are very important things, where for the Mexican it is to keep his reputation as a winner intact and for the American to demonstrate that his rival is more a product of marketing than merits in the ring.
But in addition, the World Boxing Council decided to put into play a special incentive with the presentation of a spectacular and historic commemorative ring that will be the first of its kind to be contested in a fight governed by this boxing organization.
The official presentation of the ring
For that reason, the World Boxing Council took it upon itself to present the striking award in the Fontainebleau Hotel's Hall of Excellence. This is a new undisputed championship ring that is part of the WBC Crown series.
The ring was designed and crafted by Jason of Beverly Hills Jewelry as a great incentive to highlight the efforts of champions who achieve undisputed status in the complicated art of boxing.
This commemorative piece was conceived by Rasheen Farlow, a strategic partner of the WBC in branding and social responsibility initiatives that include campaigns with cultural associations, and designed by the artisans of Jason of Beverly Hills.
The jewelry detail is a yellow gold creation containing approximately 10 carats of precious stones.which contains 8.5 carats of white diamonds, in addition to a carat of colored stones and whose market value exceeds $ 100 thousand dollars.
In addition, the piece of jewelry includes at the top a logo of the World Boxing Council (WBC) that includes the words "World Champions" (World Champion), with green inlays and that has as its peculiar color the representative of the organization.
Other commemorative signs on said ring highlight aspects related to professional boxing with colored stones that represent the different boxing scepters and that also includes a rotating mechanism with the representation of the fight scene, the Allegiant Stadium with a ring in the center and the names of Canelo and Crawford in each scoring zone, as well as in the side areas, the date of the fight stands out, also a pair of boxing gloves with the legend Undisputed, along with the letters "WBC" or CMB in diamonds and the date of the event.
