Meet the jury of Top Chef VIP 4: Betty Vazquez, Antonio De Livier and Ines Paez
This new season features, like every year, a luxury cast, including Sergio Sendel and Hector Sandarti
The fourth season of Top Chef VIP is about to begin; has a start date next Tuesday, July 29, on Telemundo, and will be hosted by Carmen Villalobos.
The 20 participants have already been introduced and the names of Sergio Sendel, Hector Sandarti, Cristina Porta, Karina, Lorena Herrera, Juan Soler and Sergio Goyri, among others, are being heard heavily in the media.
But the public also wants to meet this season's judges, since without them the show would be incomplete. And this time, Telemundo presents the following jury members: Betty Vazquez, Antonio De Livier and Ines Paez.
Meet the jury:
Having previously participated as a guest judge on the show, Chef Betty Vazquez joins as a member of the panel of judges this season.
A renowned ambassador of Mexican cuisine, originally from San Blas, Nayarit, Mexico, and executive chef of El Delfin restaurant, she trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and has represented Nayarit gastronomy on international stages. She has been a judge in other successful culinary competitions in her native Mexico, where she stood out for her charming personality and experience.
Among her many accolades, she has been named International Ambassador of Nayarit Cuisine and one of the 100 most important chefs of traditional Mexican cuisine by the Culinary Institute of America.
The charismatic Antonio De Livier, better known as Chef Tono, returns as a judge of the competition for the fourth time. Originally from Mexicali, Baja California, De Livier is one of the most creative exponents of contemporary Mexican cuisine.
Professionally trained in the United States, this renowned chef has been awarded the prestigious Five Star Diamond Award and is the author of the recipe book Let's Cook.
The owner of successful restaurants such as La Panga del Impostor and Puerco Nuevo, he has revolutionized the culinary scene with innovative proposals. Her restaurant Fellini's was awarded the Four Diamonds by the AAA (American Automobile Association), a distinction reserved for establishments of excellence.
Ines Paez, better known as Chef Tita, also returns in this fourth season of Top Chef VIP, after her participation in the previous edition.
This ambassador and creator of New Dominican Cuisine has renewed dozens of traditional recipes from his native Dominican Republic and has received multiple distinctions. Among them, she was awarded two knives from The Best Chef Awards, becoming the first Dominican to enter this prestigious international list.
She has also been recognized by La Liste de Paris, named a 2019 Gourmet Excellence Personality and awarded the Dominican Women's Medal. Owner of the Aguaji restaurant in her native country, she was included by Forbes in 2021 among the 100 most powerful women in Central America and the Caribbean, among other recognitions.
