The sound of the detonation of firearms near the White House forced the Secret Service personnel to launch an operation to protect the security of the building where the president of the nation resides and the people who were inside.
The agency announced that it is investigating a series of reports of shots fired that allegedly occurred on the corner of 17th Street and Northwest Pennsylvania Avenue, just outside the White House complex.
