In the Corona era, the festival of Bakrid is being celebrated all over the country including Delhi on Saturday. Prayers are being performed in various mosques of Delhi-NCR. In this episode, Eid prayers were also read in the historic Jama and Fatehpuri mosque of Delhi. In view of the corona infection, prayers are being offered in mosques from a physical distance. For this, on Friday, yellow and red markings have been made in mosques, according to which people are offering Namaz.
In the Madina Mosque in East Delhi, people also offered namaaz along with obeying the laws of physical distance.
On the occasion of Bakrid in the Jama Masjid complex located in Noida Sector 8, people offered prayers and prayed for the peace and peace of the country.
At the same time, a day before Bakrid, people went shopping in different markets of Old Delhi. By late night people with children reached Meena Bazaar, Matiamhal, Daryaganj and Chitali graves etc. markets. Markets have been adorned continuously for the last one week on Bakrid. On Friday, people arrived in different markets of Old Delhi to shop. The market was buzzing in the afternoon and evening. Before Bakrid, people bought new clothes and home decorations. During this time, women bought bangles and other items for their decoration on Eid. Children, who arrived at the market with family members, bought toys. On the other hand, the shopkeepers also negotiated with the customers and sold goods to them to avoid corona. The men who went to buy Bakrid bought a kurta pajama.
They also bought matching masks with kurtas for themselves, on the other hand, women also bought junk suits and burqas for themselves. Bought kurta pajama and sherwani for children. Apart from this, people also bought sevaiyan and fanny to make sweet at home.
Mufti Mukarram (Shahi Imam Fatehpuri Mosque) says that the government should make arrangements every year on the occasion of Bakrid. Also, Muslims from all over the country also follow the guidelines of the government during the sacrifice. At the same time, if someone breaks the rules, then the authorities should take appropriate action against him.
