Lockdown in West Bengal ineffective, Corona infection records 2,954 new cases

After the weekly lockdown in West Bengal, the corona graph has been steadily increasing. In the case of daily infections, Corona has again set a new record in Bengal. In the last 24 hours, 2,954 people have been infected, which is a new day's record, while 56 people have died. A total of 86,754 people have been infected in the state so far. At the same time, 1,902 people have died. More than half of the 56 people who died in the state died in 24 hours in Kolkata. In the capital Kolkata, 27 people died in a day.

According to the bulletin, 2,061 people were successful in beating Corona in one day. At the same time 61,023 people have beaten Corona. Now the number of active patients has increased to 23,829.

Slight drop in recovery rate

Against the rising cases of corona, a slight decline has been recorded in the state's recovery rate, which has now come down from 70.36 to 70.34 percent, while the state's infection rate is 8.44 percent.

Checking record samples in one day

The Corona investigation is being intensified every day in the state now. Record samples have also been checked in the last 24 hours. According to the bulletin, 25,224 samples have been tested in a day. On Wednesday, 24,047 samples were tested.
