UPPCS Mains Result 2018: Anuj Nehra of Panipat tops in UP PCS 2018, girls in top 3

UPPCS Mains Result 2018: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has ended the wait for lakhs of candidates today. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the results of PCS 2018 on Friday. 976 candidates have been declared successful in the recruitment examination for 988 posts in the state service. 12 posts of Information Officer and District Information Officer are vacant. Due to non-availability of qualified candidates for these posts, the posts have been forwarded. The final result of PCS Exam 2018 is on the Commission's website ---------- http://uppsc.up.nic.in .

2669 successful candidates were called for interview in UP PCS 2018 Mains Examination. Covid-19 was also interviewed from 15 July to 25 August. 988 posts were to be admitted. The interview was conducted for 984 posts. One vacant post of Assistant Municipal Commissioner and three vacant posts of Accountant (Municipal Development Department) are selected on the basis of main examination only. The PCS Main Examination was held in October 2019, in which 16738 candidates appeared and out of these 2669 candidates were declared successful for appearing in the interview.

Only girls are in the top three. Anuj Nehra of Panipat topped, Sangeeta Raghav of Gurugram and Jyoti Sharma of Mathura are in the third place. In fourth place is Vipin Kumar Shivhare of Jalaun and in fifth place is Karmaveer Keshav of Patna. In case of recruitment of posts, the state will get 988 officers from the biggest examination of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission in recent years. The top three places in this exam are from outside Uttar Pradesh. The Secretary of the Commission, Jagdish Nidhi, said that the result has also been put on the notice board in the Commission's office for students.

PPSC had recruited 988 posts under the Combined State / Senior Subordinate Services Examination i.e. PCS-2018. 6,35,844 candidates applied online for the exam. The preliminary examination was held on 28 October 2018 on 1381 of 29 districts of the state, while from 18 to 22 October 2019, the main examination was conducted in various centers in Prayagraj and Lucknow. There were 16738 candidates involved in 19096. The commission declared the result of the main examination on 23 June. 2669 candidates were successful for the interview. The interview ran from 15 July to 25 August and 68 candidates were absent. The Commission has selected 976 candidates against 988 posts of recruitment. 12 posts of Information Officer and District Information Officer are vacant.

Subject to result petition

Commission Secretary Jagdish said that the selected candidates, whose provisional word is mentioned, should provide all the educational documents within the stipulated time, otherwise their selection will be canceled. The result will be subject to the final decision to be passed in the petition pending in the High Court.

Scores and category and post wise cutoff soon

The secretary said that the marks of the selected, category-wise and post-wise cutoff marks will be released in the website of the commission soon. The application of the Right to Information Act 2005 will not be accepted.

No interview for four terms

Four posts were not interviewed under PCS-2018. Candidates have been selected on the basis of written examination on one post of Executive Officer Category-1 / Assistant Municipal Commissioner and three posts of Accountant (Municipal Development Department).

PCS Main Exam 2019 and RO-ARO 2016 admit card released

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has uploaded the admit card of two important examinations on the website. Candidates can download it. The Commission is conducting the Preliminary Written Examination of Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer (RO-ARO) 2016 on September 20. PCS 2019 main exam is starting from 22 September. The admit cards for both exams are uploaded on the website.
