Indira Ekadashi Puja Vidhi
Wake up early in the morning on Ekadashi. Take a bath and become pure. Wear clean clothes. Clean the place of worship. Sanctify the place with Ganges water. Take a checkpoint. Spread a yellow cloth on it. Make a swastika on that cloth with kumkum and offer flowers and rice to the swastik while bowing to Lord Ganesha and uttering his mantra "Om Ganeshaaya Namah".
Place the statue of Lord Vishnu on the outpost. Apply sandalwood or kumkum tilak on his forehead. Light a lamp Offer a garland of yellow flowers to Lord Vishnu. Also offer basil leaf. Paying obeisance to Lord Vishnu. After this, recite Vishnu Chalisa, Vishnu Stuti and Vishnu Sahastranam.
Chanting the name or mantras of Lord Vishnu on Ekadashi gives many multiplied results. Therefore, if possible, take their maximum name and chant the mantras.
