The investigation of this case started with Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide has now reached to drugs. Recently, after the drug angle surfaced during the actor's case investigation, the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Riya Chakraborty. Riya is currently in 14 days judicial custody. The actress is lodged in Byculla Jail in Mumbai. But he has revealed to the NCB the names of a few more celebs who take drugs, or who have some connection with drug peddlers.
Meanwhile, actor and producer Yuvraj S Singh, a friend of Sushant, has made a shocking disclosure. Yuvraj says that drugs are very common in Bollywood parties.
Trend since 1970
Speaking to news agency IANS, Yuvraj said, 'All this has been going on for many years, probably since 1970. Things were a bit different at that time. At that time there was no social media era, so things did not come out so much. But now it is not so, now all this is getting expensed. There are many people in the industry who take cocaine. There are many actors and filmmakers who are working in the field of drugs'.
'Weed is like a cigarette'
Talking about drugs, Yuvraj said, 'Weed is like a cigarette there. From camerapers to technicians, everyone takes a normal video on the set. Bollywood parties mostly run cocaine, cocaine is the main drug here. Also MDMA called ecstasy, LSD whose acid is called and ketamine. These are very hard drugs, they last about 15 to 20 hours. Cocaine is also a very hard drug. I would say that there are 5 to 8 actors in the industry for whom it is very important to quit drugs, otherwise these people will die.
'I have been offered drugs many times'
'I have also been offered drugs many times. This is a very normal thing. Take drugs and party. Rather, people are getting work like this. If you take drugs with the right hero, right actress and director, then you become a part of that lobby, your connections are made, this is the mindset on which Bollywood works.
'I know people who take drugs, but I do not have a photo as evidence to prove my point, if I took their name, they would turn their case against me. I do not want to bring my name among them all. If I do that, he will refuse to release the film from my distributor '.
