The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken major action. NIA raids in West Bengal and Kerala have arrested nine terrorists of terrorist organization Al Qaeda.
NIA has taken a major action of raids in two states of West Bengal and Kerala this morning. According to news agency ANI, raids were conducted at several locations in Murshidabad in West Bengal and Ernakulam in Kerala. During this, the NIA has arrested nine terrorists of terrorist organization Al Qaeda.
Nine al-Qaeda terrorists arrested by the National Investigation Agency NIA include Leu Yin Ahmed and Abu Sufiyan from West Bengal and Musharf Hussain and Murshid Hassan from Kerala.
On Saturday morning, the National Investigation Agency NIA raided several places in Ernakulam, Kerala and Murshidabad in West Bengal and arrested nine al-Qaeda terrorists. Of these, six have been arrested from Bengal and three from Kerala. The terrorists arrested from Kerala include Murshid Hasan, Yakub Biswas and Mosraf Hussain. Najmus Saqib, Abu Sufiyan, Manul Mandal, Lew Ian Ahmed, Al Mamun Kamal and Pastur Rahman have been arrested from Bengal.
According to the NIA, these terrorists were preparing to attack important places in the country. The NIA was caught on its own on 11 September and they had joined the campaign against them. Digital equipment, sharp weapons, firearms, explosive material and important documents have been seized from the possession of the terrorists. According to sources, some members of the terrorists were also going to New Delhi, so that funds could be raised to buy more weapons.
