Unlock 4.0 School Reopen Today: Under the process of Unlock 4 by the Central Government, permission was given to organize guidance classes for students from 9th to 12th in government and private schools in various states and union territories. The government has also issued several guidelines in the wake of the Kovid-19 epidemic from school premises to teachers, non-teaching staff and students during the conduct of guidance classes. Following these rules, preparations have been started to open schools in different states from today, 21 September. However, there are many states that have decided not to open schools from today.
Deputy Chief Minister of the state of Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Dinesh Sharma informed on Sunday, 20 September 2020 that the state schools will not open till 30 September. The Deputy Chief Minister said that it is not possible to open schools in view of the transition in the state.
On the other hand, the Directorate of Education of Delhi had already announced that all government and private schools in the state will remain closed till October 5. At the same time, the process of online learning will continue unchanged. According to the official instructions issued by the directorate, the principals of the schools can call the staff required for online teaching.
However, the Haryana government had given permission to open government and private schools of the state from today as per the rules issued by the central government amidst the epidemic and schools will open from today. Guidance classes for students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th in state schools will be started from the beginning. In Haryana schools, only 20 children from each class will be called. It will be the responsibility of the staff of the schools as well as the teachers to follow the necessary rules for epidemic care from the time of the children to the arrival. However, only the dots will be cleared in the classes and the online classes will continue to run. If a child's doubts are not resolved, he can go to school again the next day. Children will not be able to move in groups and only one child will be allowed to go to the toilet.
Like Haryana, all government and private schools in the state of Bihar will open from today. Necessary instructions have already been given by the state government as per the instructions of the Central Government regarding the opening of schools.
At the same time, the Punjab government has not currently given permission to open government and private schools in the state. However, the government has allowed higher education institutions to be open to post graduate courses students and research scholars (PhD).
Government of Himachal Pradesh has given permission to open schools of the state from today. Students of classes from 9th to 12th in this school will be able to go to school as per the program and rules issued by the schools. Also, children have to be taken with the written permission of their parents.
Jammu and Kashmir
Anuradha Gupta, Director of School Education, Jammu Zone, informed the news agency PTI that all government and private schools in the zone will be opened for higher classes from today. Also, it will be mandatory for all to follow the rules issued. Fifty percent of the teachers have to be present in the teaching work according to the roster.
According to the information given by the director of secondary education in Uttarakhand state government, government and private schools of the state will not open from today. It has been decided to keep the schools closed for the time being due to the rising infection of the Kovid-19 epidemic.
On the other hand, the Gujarat government has decided to open all schools to the state from today. The education minister in the state government informed that in a meeting with Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, it has been decided to open the schools from today.
On the other hand, Goa has decided not to open all schools to the state till 2 October. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has taken this decision after consulting experts, according to news agency PTI.
All government and private schools in Assam will also be opened from today. Schools must follow the standard operating procedure issued by the government. Counseling classes for students from 9th to 12th will also be held here.
