NCB has issued summons to Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh in an investigation related to the drugs in Sushant Singh Rajput case. Earlier, on Tuesday, NCB released Deepika Padukone's manager Karishma Prakash and Cowan Agency CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar was summoned but Karishma could not appear before the Prakash Agency due to poor health.
In a major change, the Narcotics Control Bureau on Wednesday called Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh for questioning in a drug-related case. The NCB started an investigation after the drugs angle surfaced in connection with the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, now its scope of investigation has increased and many of these 'A-list' actors have been asked to join the investigation. Some persons have come across their names during interrogation, who were questioned in the case.
Deepika has been summoned by the NCB to record her statement on Friday 25 September. After this, the response has started coming on social media.
A fan has written, 'Shraddha Kapoor, Deepika Padukone Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan have been called to the NCB office to record the statement. Sometimes the little children of big houses submerge the name of the family.'
One fan wrote, 'I am not surprised to hear the names of Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, as much as listening to Shraddha Kapoor.'
Another fan wrote, 'Not so much cleanliness was done in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as is happening in Sushant Singh Rajput case'.
At the same time a fan wrote, 'Now how much you try Ranveer Singh, but your wife Deepika Padukone and you yourself are sure to go to jail. Now prepare to go to jail.'
