Delhi Violence: Court said- there is enough evidence, ED filed charge sheet against Tahir Hussain and Amit Gupta

Tahir Hussain, accused in the Delhi riots, is the name of another person in the money laundering case. The man named Amit Gupta has accused in his charge sheet that he too has been involved in the case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday filed a charge sheet against Chief accused and former councilor Tahir Hussain in the money laundering case related to the Delhi riots under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in Karkardooma Additional Sessions Judge Amitabh Rawat's court. Have done The ED has named a person named Amit Gupta in the charge sheet as co-accused.

Cognizance taken on the charge sheet

Taking cognizance of the charge sheet, the court ordered the two accused to appear on October 19. It is also said that prima facie there is sufficient evidence against the accused.

When and where did the Delhi riots happen

There was a riot in north-east Delhi on 24 and 25 February. It killed 53 people and injured more than 200 people. In this case, the Enforcement Directorate was probing the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and illegally raising Rs 1.10 crore by making dummy companies by Tahir Hussain and his associates to incite riots in Delhi. The ED filed a charge sheet in the court on Saturday after finding sufficient evidence in it.

Please tell that many people had lost their lives and property in the Delhi riots. The protest started in protest against the citizenship law of the central government gradually took a larger form. The protest then took the form of a riot in the North Eastern district of Delhi. After this, incidents of assault started everywhere. At the same time, the shops of many people were completely destroyed by the burns of many people.

During the Delhi riots, Delhi Police head constable Ratan Lal, a resident of Sikar, Rajasthan, died during the violence in Gokalpuri on 24 February. The cause of death was shot. In this case several policemen including DCP and ACP were seriously injured. Also, after killing IB officer Ankit Sharma, his body was thrown into the drain.
