Due to Corona virus epidemic, all the board of education schools in Uttar Pradesh, which have been closed for the last seven months, will start their classes from Monday to class nine. Schools will open for the first time in the current academic session. The schools will be operated in two shifts from 8.50 am to 3.20 pm. The first shift will be from 8.50 am to 11.50 am, with classes nine and 10 taking place. The second shift will be from 12.20 to 3.20 pm with classes for classes 11 and 12.
Vinay Kumar Pandey, Director of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, has instructed all district school inspectors to immediately provide this information to the principals of schools affiliated to all boards of education and ensure compliance with this arrangement. According to the guidelines of the Central Government, the state government has already issued a mandate to open all the schools from class nine to 12 operating outside the Containment Zone in the state from October 19. The schools will be fully sanitized before they are opened. Schools will be sanitized even after every shift.
Only 50 percent of the students will be called in each class in a day. The remaining 50 percent students will be called the next day. Arrangements will be made to seat students at a distance of six feet from each other. Written consent of their parents / guardians will be required for the students to call the school. Students will not be forced to come to school.
It will be mandatory for all teachers, pupils and other school staff to wear masks. School management will have to provide an additional number of masks. Schools will have to ensure sanitizer, handwash, thermal scanning and first aid. Students will be given admission in schools only after handwash or hand sanitizing. If a student, teacher or other person has symptoms of cough, cold or fever, they will be sent back home giving first aid.
Physical distance will be observed at the gate at school admission and leave. Not all students will be discharged simultaneously. If there are more than one entrance in the school then they will be used. Instructions have also been given to sanitize school buses and school-affiliated public vehicles daily and students will have to follow physical distance to sit in them.
