UP: DIG Chandra Prakash's wife commits suicide in SIT probe for Hathras scandal

Pushpa Prakash, wife of DIG Chandraprakash, who was involved in the SIT committee set up in Hathras incident, died in Sushant Golf City, Lucknow, under suspicious circumstances.

Pushpa Prakash, the wife of DIG Chandraprakash, who was involved in the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Hathras case, died in suspicious circumstances at Sushant Golf City in Lucknow, the capital. It is being told that he committed suicide by hanging himself. He was rushed to Lohia Hospital in Ananfanan, where he was declared dead. Chandraprakash is posted as DIG in PTC Unnao.

Pushpa Prakash, wife of Chandra Prakash, a 2004 batch IPS officer, committed suicide around 11:00 am on Saturday. The reason why DIG's 36-year-old wife Pushpa Prakash committed suicide by hanging, is not yet clear. No suicide note has also been found by chance. Police is currently investigating the entire case.

Explain that a three-member SIT was constituted to investigate the Hathras incident and directed to investigate every aspect of the entire episode. DIG Chandra Prakash is also included in the three-member SIT headed by Secretary Home Bhagwan Swaroop. The clean image of Chandra Prakash-II counts among honest officers.
