Corona infection has been confirmed in 24 more trainee officers of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Administrative Academy (LBSNAA). A total of 57 officers have been found corona positive so far at the academy. In view of Corona's growing transition, the academy administration has decided to conduct the training program online until December 3. It can be extended further depending on the situation.
According to LBSNAA Director Sanjeev Chopra, 428 trainee officers attended the program of the Academy's 95th Foundation Course. Probably the infection has spread from there itself. So far, more than 162 trainee officers have been investigated. Corona was confirmed among the 33 trainees as of Friday. The figure peaked at 57 on Saturday. All high risk contacts of infected trainees are being investigated. Corona is working side by side with the Academy Administration, District Administration and Health Department to prevent infection. Officers found to be infected are being looked after properly and with caution. Instructions have been issued to everyone in the academy campus to follow the rules of physical distance and compulsorily wear masks.
11 people report positive, including bank worker in Pachhwadoon
On Saturday, doctors of Vikasnagar and Sahaspur hospitals conducted rapid antigen and RT PCR tests of 216 persons in Pachhwadoon. Rapid antigen in CHC Sahaspur area was found to be all negative, while in Vikasnagar, 11 persons including bank personnel reported positive. Physicians are also concerned with the increasing number of infected in the Vikasnagar region. Nodal officer of Sub District Hospital Vikasnagar, Dr. TS Dungaryal informed that the doctors conducted tests of 96 persons, of which 21 were rapid antigen tests.
