Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Palamu's team arrested Sharif Ansari, chief of Korwadih panchayat of Garhwa block on Friday, taking a bribe of Rs 4,000. After the arrest, the chief took ACM team to Palamu after presenting it to the local police. This action of ACB was done after a complaint made by Akhilesh Chaudhary, a resident of Korwadih.
According to the information, Akhilesh Chaudhary wanted to dig a trunk cum bend (TCB) from MNREGA in Korwadih village, for this, he had taken this plan (Sanson no-340700/014 / IF / 7080901497304) in the name of his wife Sushila Devi. The estimated amount of this scheme is Rs 32,722. According to the allegation, when Akhilesh Chaudhary met the Chief of Staff Sharif Ansari to start this scheme, he demanded Rs 4 thousand in lieu of it. On this, when he and his wife Sushila Devi requested to give work order without any amount, they refused to work without money.
It is alleged that the chief demanded 2 thousand rupees to get the scheme sanctioned and 2 thousand rupees to withdraw the amount of the scheme, that is, a total of Rs. Akhilesh Chaudhary put this matter of bribery before the ACB. After this, the ACB investigated the matter and formed a raiding team, after this, according to the plan, on Friday, Sharif Ansari was arrested by the ACB team, taking a bribe of Rs 4 thousand from Akhilesh Chaudhary from Nawada turn of the city.
After the arrest, ACB team took the head chief Sharif Ansari with him to Palamu. Earlier, the Palamu ACB team arrested the chief was also presented before the local police. After this, the ACB team took the arrested chief Sharif Ansari with him to Palamu.
