Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Wednesday announced that the JEE Main Exam 2021 will be held four times a year from now. These four sessions will be held in February, March, April and May. A few days ago, the ministry was considering how many times the joint entrance examination should be conducted in the year and the number of questions was also being considered by the ministry.
Education Minister said that this will help the candidates to improve their score without wasting years. Candidates will get experience by taking the exam for the first time and if they are not able to pass then they will be able to know what mistake they have made which they will be able to rectify the next time they take the exam. This will not ruin their year. And even if someone's exam is missed for some reason, he will not have to wait for the whole year to take the next exam.
Further Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that in February, the examination will be held between 23 February to 26 February. Accordingly, schedule of March, April and May 2021 will also be released.
