There was a 100-run partnership for the second wicket between opener Pukowski and Marnus Labushane. Pukowski played a very patient innings, but he became the victim of Navdeep Saini. However, in the 55-over game on the first day of the match, only two wickets of the Australian team fell. The first wicket fell as David Warner, who fell to Mohammed Siraj, while Navdeep Saini, who made a wicket, got it.
