All the franchises of the Indian Premier League announced the list of all their titles and released players for the IPL 2021 season a few days ago. Royal Challengers Bangalore released the maximum number of 10 players this time from their team, but retained the top players of their team such as Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar. The meaning of retaining is that these players have got one year extension and they will be given the same amount of money for the season at which they were bought.

Now, according to a report by InsideSport, RCB batsman AB de Villiers has become the first foreign player in the history of IPL T20 league to have earned Rs 100 crore so far. However, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina have earned so much before AB in this league. That is, AB along with these players has also become the fifth player to join the 100 crore club, but as a foreigner he is the first player to do so.

According to the current contract, AB de Villiers gets Rs 11 crore for a season and because of this, he has joined the club of 100 crore with Dhoni, Kohli, Rohit and Raina. After the IPL 2021 contract, AB has earned a total of Rs 102.5 crore in IPL so far. AB de Villiers is recognized as one of the finest batsmen in the world. He retired from international cricket in May 2018, but even then he is a great batsman of the T20 format.

In the last season of IPL, 2020, he scored 454 runs for his team RCB at an average of 45.40 and his strike rate was 158.4. Mr 360 had scored 442 runs in 13 matches, while speaking of his entire IPL career, he has scored 4849 runs in 169 matches played at an average of 40.40. AB became part of Delhi's team in 2008 and in the first season he was bought by Delhi for a little over one crore. After this, RCB bought him in his team in 2011 by paying more than 5 crores and after that he is part of this team.
