New Delhi: Thingsencup Industries India has signed B & W Enterprises Inc., a subsidiary of Denmark's Beckuck and Wilcox Vølund A / S (B & W Vølund). A special license agreement has been entered for water-cooled vibrating grate technology for certified, European-designed, biomass boilers. Its purpose is to facilitate other neighboring countries like Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Bhutan. ThiesenCrude Industries India is part of ThyssenCrupup's Industrial Solutions business.

This is the second and most important achievement of ThiesenCroup in efforts to meet the requirement of clean renewable energy through the use of biomass in India and other markets in this agreement. Commenting on the progress, Vivek Bhatia, CEO and Managing Director of Thyssen Krupp Industries India said that one of the important reasons for pollution in northern India during winter is to burn crop waste in fields. Through this agreement with Beckok and Wilcox Vølund A / S, we will be able to find a permanent solution to this issue using this crop waste for clean energy generation. Water-cooled vibrating technique of Beckok and Wilcox for biomass boilers can also solve various biomass fuels (containing high alkalis and chlorine content).

B & W Vølund's water-cooled vibrating greate was developed for combustion of biomass and multi-fuel with very low or nearly non-equivalent ash content. Over the past several decades, this furnace has proved effective in terms of its high availability, low maintenance cost and low consumption of spare parts. It is also very suitable for high quality alkali and choline content such as rice straw, which is a common sub-product of agriculture in India and other countries of this region. Kenn W. Bogers, managing director of B & W Vølund A / S, said that this agreement with ThysenCrup Industries India is an important step for B & W Vølund to reach the growing renewable energy market in India. He said that our certified biomass combustion technology will help in generating clean, renewable energy by helping industrial and electric users reduce the environmental impact of combustion of rice straw and other wastewater.

ThiesenCrop Industrial Solutions is one of the most trusted names in the field of steam and power generation plants, sugar and cement plants, machinery, mining and material handling equipment and clean energy. The company is currently performing paddy straw (waste) through two high pressure boilers having 80 tph (tonne per hour) for two biomass power plants operated by Sukhbir Agro Energy Limited.
