The Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express train will be flagged off on October 4. Tejas will leave Lucknow at 6.10 am and reach Delhi at 12.25 pm.
Railway subsidiary IRCTC has decided to give compensation to passengers of Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express (Tejas Express) on the delay of the train. According to IRCTC, if the train is late for more than one hour, then passengers will be paid Rs 100 and if the train is late for more than two hours, Rs 250 will be paid.
Earlier, IRCTC offered free insurance of Rs 25 lakh to the passengers of the train. In this, coverage of Rs 1 lakh will be given for the theft of passengers' luggage during the journey.
Yogi Adityanath will show a green signal on October 4
On October 4, the Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express will flag off the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On October 5, the Tejas train will run from Lucknow at 6:10 am and reach Delhi at 12:25 pm. The second Tejas will leave New Delhi railway station at 3:35 pm and reach Lucknow at 10:05 pm.
If you are traveling in Tejas, then know these things
- There will be a separate facility to bring the luggage of the passengers from home to the train.
- Dinner will also be arranged for passengers at night.
- Rs. 25 will be deducted for the cancellation of waiting for tickets four hours before the yatra.
- There is no immediate quota facility on the Tejas train.
