To provide better internet service in rural areas, the country's state-owned telecom company BSNL has launched a service called Bharat Air Fiber. BSNS wants to add one lakh broadband customers in the next financial year. This service will start at Rs 500 per month. Voice service will also be provided through radio frequency in Bharat Air Fiber.
Earlier, BSNL had launched broadband service for rural areas called BharatNet. This BSNL service sounds similar to Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH), but there is a big difference. While wired technology is used in Bharat Fiber Service, on the other hand, Bharat Air Fiber Service is wireless. For the time being, let us know what will be offered to the users in Bharat Air Fiber Service.
Triple Play Service -
BSNS, India will provide triple-play service through an air fiber connection. This means that the subscribers will not only get calling and internet service but they will also get the facility of TV. For this, recently BSNL has partnered with Yupp TV, which is providing service in the South Asia region.
