According to Bloomberg, the international spot price of gold was trading 0.28 percent, or $ 4.55, at $ 1607.15 an ounce on Thursday afternoon. At the same time, on April 3, 2020 gold futures on the MCX exchange were trading down by Rs 78 to Rs 41,508 per 10 grams on Thursday afternoon.
At the same time, the gold futures price of June 5, 2020, was also seen on Thursday afternoon. It was trading at Rs 41,705 per 10 grams on the MCX exchange on Thursday afternoon, falling by Rs 73.
Talking about silver, the global spot prices were also seen falling on Thursday afternoon. It was down 0.65 percent or $ 0.12 to trade at $ 18.31 an ounce.
Talking about the futures price of silver, the silver futures on March 5, 2020, on the MCX exchange was trending at Rs 47,535 per kg, falling by 0.07 percent or Rs 35 on Thursday afternoon.
Significantly, the domestic spot price of gold and silver recorded a huge jump on Wednesday. According to HDFC Securities, on Wednesday, gold rose by Rs 462 to Rs 42,339 per 10 grams in Delhi. At the same time, silver rose by Rs 1,047 to Rs 48,652 per kg.
