Youth tried self-immolation in front of police headquarters, police arrested
Ramakrishna Kumar, president of the Hindu Putra Sangathan, had also issued a letter warning of self-immolation.

On Thursday, in front of the Police Headquarters at Bailey Road in the capital Patna, a youth tried to commit suicide. However, the police took quick action and extinguished the fire in clothes and arrested the young man. The arrested youth says that in the Phulwari Sharif riots, many people including his brother were unnecessarily implicated by the police and took this frightening step.
The arrested youth has described himself as the patron of the Hindu sons organization, Rajiv Brahmarshi. He has alleged that during the Bihar bandh called by RJD, the women and girls of the town were abused. Assets were looted. The temple was broken and damaged. At the same time, he has accused the station in-charge of being biased because of being a particular community.

It said that by February 19, 2020, the special committee should investigate Phulwari Sharif riots, otherwise self-immolation will be done before the police headquarters on 20 February. In this sequence, Rajiv Brahmarshi reached the police headquarters on Thursday and started self-immolation, which the police took quick action and failed. It is known that the arrested youth had also announced self-immolation on his Facebook account on 15 February.
