MLA Amba Prasad gave instructions to officials, will complain to Chief Minister if reform does not happen

MLA from Barkagaon, Amba Prasad has expressed concern about pollution. In a meeting with the officials of the department, he said, if the level of pollution has not decreased and not improved, then I will complain to the Chief Minister and the National Green Tribunal. MLA Amba Prasad said, NTPC and Triveni company are constantly working to pollute the environment in the area. Barkagaon has been an agricultural area, it was also called Chhoti Shimla.
The water level of Barkagaon is continuously decreasing due to wrong mining and transportation. Due to which the agricultural work of farmers is being affected. People are being killed in continuous accidents due to the company overloading the highway in the road. Passengers and local residents are suffering from diseases like asthma due to coal dust falling on the road overloading coal.
He said, if the initiative is not taken on this problem soon then the local people will be forced to agitate. He said, demanding that special package should be provided by the company in the affected areas in Barkagaon to control pollution. On this occasion, he instructed to supply pure water.
The MLA also asked for details of the work being done in public interest. The MLA said, if the situation does not improve, then he asked to complain to the Chief Minister and the National Green Tribunal. NTPC DGM Virendra Kumar, DGM Sanjay Kumar, Mining DGM (Keradari) Prabhakar Chaudhary, Yatish Kumar, etc. were present in this meeting. The meeting was attended by Member Secretary, Jharkhand Pollution Control Council, Rajiv Lochan Bakshi.
