The BJP has started preparations to form a new government in Madhya Pradesh. A meeting of the BJP Legislature Party has been called on Monday. In this, after the resignation of Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava, a new leader ie Chief Minister will be elected. The Central leadership has appointed Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and National Vice President Dr. Vinay Sahastrabuddhe as observers for the Legislature Party meeting.
It is likely that the central observer will get the seal of the legislature party meeting in the name of the leader decided by the high command. After this, the leader of the legislative party will present the claim to form the government in front of Governor Lalji Tandon. It is worth mentioning that earlier this meeting was called on Saturday. It is believed that due to the increasing impact of Corona in the country and 'Janata curfew' on Sunday, the legislature party meeting was postponed. According to the party's strategy, if everything goes well, the swearing in of the new government may take place on 25 March. On this day, Navratri Puja is also beginning.
Shivraj on top for CM
A game of struggle has started regarding who will be the next Chief Minister of BJP in MP. The name of Shivraj Singh Chauhan is naturally at the forefront of the post of Chief Minister. According to party leaders, only Shivraj, popularly known as 'Mama', can cross BJP's seat in the by-elections in 24 seats in MP. This is the reason why he is at the forefront of CM's race. It is also believed that Jyotiraditya Scindia's support will remain with Chauhan. However, the name of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar is also floating in the party. He is also considered close to the top leadership of the BJP.
