Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been elected as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party. This decision was taken in the evening of the BJP Legislature Party meeting held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The state in-charge and BJP national vice president Dr. Vinay Sahastrabuddhe also attended the meeting of the legislature party. BJP will present the claim today in front of Governor Lalji Tandon and CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan will take oath as Chief Minister at 9 pm.
The Bharatiya Janata Party wants to speed up the process of formation of a new government from today. The intention of the party leaders is that the government come into existence before the voting for the Rajya Sabha elections on 26 March.
The political fog that had been prevalent in Madhya Pradesh for the past few days was now expected to be trimmed. An agreement has been reached in the name of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and he will take charge as the Chief Minister of the state for the fourth time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi twice spoke to Shivraj Singh Chauhan on the issue of Corona on Sunday. In this, he has also asked Chauhan to keep in touch with the administration. The second reason is that the issue of coordination will be important in running the government formed due to the support of Scindia, so the party will benefit from Chauhan's experience. Party sources said that the party has decided not to perform any rituals at the swearing-in ceremony. The oath will be administered in the presence of a select few. It is known that Kamal Nath resigned on March 18 after the government came to a minority.
