Spread messages about community working personnel viruses
The Union Health Ministry on Wednesday, underlining the role of personnel working among the community in combating the corona virus, said that they should spread important messages in the community for prevention of the disease and help in early detection of suspected cases . Underlining their role, the ministry said that community activists could be asked to prepare a list of people who have traveled to other countries or other states in the last 14 days.
They should share the names of such people with the Medical Officer at the Primary Health Center, but do not share their names with others. Also tell such people to remain isolated at home. The ministry said that they would be asked to monitor the corona virus themselves and make it available on the helpline number. They will be asked to take all precautionary measures such as keeping a safe distance and washing their hands continuously.
