Lockdown update: these hotspots of UP, MP and Delhi completely sealed, know about them

The UP government has sealed hot spots in 15 districts till 14 April and the Delhi government has sealed 21 hot spots till further orders.

9th April, 2020

Despite the lockdown, in view of the increasing number of corona patients in many areas, the governments of Uttar Pradesh and the capital Delhi have now taken strict measures. On Wednesday, the Uttar Pradesh government sealed the hot spots identified in 15 districts by 14 April and the Delhi government sealed 21 hot spots in the capital for further orders.

In these areas of both states, no one can get out of the house. During this time there will be a curfew like ban. The boundaries of three districts of Madhya Pradesh, Indore, Bhopal and Ujjain have also been sealed. Lockdown is underway across the country to prevent corona infection. The situation worsened due to the sudden increase in the number of infected patients due to Tablighi deposits.

Hot spots found in UP with more than six patients

In fifteen districts of Uttar Pradesh, those areas have been marked as hot spots where six or more infected patients have been found. The Uttar Pradesh government is reviewing whether the lockdown should be opened or extended on April 15.

Decision will be made again after 14

State Chief Secretary RK Tiwari said that this system will run till April 14. It will be reviewed every day.

Where you will get more patients, there will be hot spots

Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that at the state level, there is no data on how many hot spots are there in the state? This district administration has to decide based on the number of patients in Corona. If the number of patients is six or more in any district other than fifteen districts, then according to this arrangement, the DM concerned will mark the hot spots of their district and implement the seal proceedings. He informed that the system of sealing in fifteen districts has become effective from 12 o'clock on Wednesday night.

Delhi government will supply essential services

In view of the rising outbreak of Corona, Delhi government has also declared 21 areas in the capital as hot spots. These areas are sealed until further orders. People here have been banned from exiting the colony. Delhi government will supply all the necessary services in these colonies. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that 21 areas of Delhi where corona virus cases are increasing rapidly have been identified as hot spots. No one can come here nor can anyone go.

Complete sealing of Indore, Bhopal and Ujjain: Shivraj

In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has given instructions to completely seal Indore, Bhopal and Ujjain. He also said that complete lockdown should be done even in those districts where infected persons have been found. The district administration should ensure the supply of essential commodities. He gave these instructions on Wednesday during a review of the corona virus status and systems in the ministry.

What is full lockdown?

In areas with full lockdown, sealing will be done more strictly than lockdown. Different states may have different arrangements regarding complete lockdown. This can be determined based on local requirements. This basically meant strict compliance with lockdown. No one will be allowed to move out of homes other than emergency. Private vehicles will be completely banned. Strict action will be taken against those who violate the provisions. During this time the following provisions will remain in effect -

- Only those involved in essential services are allowed to go on duty

Door step delivery of food grains, milk, vegetables etc. will be made

- If someone is ill, the administration will provide an ambulance

- All passes issued for traffic will be deemed canceled.

- Special duty and continuous police patrolling of 112 service vehicles

- Magistrates will be posted and there will be a police picket at every intersection

- Drone cameras will be monitored if needed

- Each house in the area will be listed and checked intensively

- The entire area including each house will be sanitized.
