The CM office of Andhra Pradesh said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been informed about the accident. The accident occurred due to a gas leak at 11.30 pm last night. The factory was immediately closed as a precaution.
Earlier on Saturday, a laborer was killed in SPY Agro Industries in Kurnool district due to ammonia gas leaks. On May 7, 12 people died in another gas leak incident, while 3 thousand people were admitted to the hospital. Around 800 tonnes of dangerous styrene gas was leaked during this period.
