West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday started the process of transferring Rs 2,385 crore of Krishak Bandhu Yojana directly into the accounts of 89 lakh farmers of the state as part of her visit to the former Burdwan district. Gone. The Chief Minister honored 22 beneficiaries in the inaugural meeting of Krishak Bandhu Yojana at Goda Health City, Burdwan. About 4 lakh farmers of East Burdwan district will be benefited by this scheme. By December 24, all the farmers of the state will get the benefit of this scheme.

The Chief Minister said that East Burdwan district is famous for its sweets like Mihidana, Lencha, and Sheetabhog. People like the taste of these sweets very much. He said that we want big hotels to be built here, and commercial establishments should be developed in the district. Institutions giving employment to the people in the district should be ready. He said that development of agricultural industries in Burdwan is also his goal.

People will get benefit of becoming helipad

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that a helipad was constructed here for her visit, but she had come by road. She wants that the said helipad should be used for the good of the general public. The Chief Minister said that if there are helipads, then people can travel between Kolkata, Malda and Andal in 15 minutes.

Smart card of Rs 10 lakh being given to students

The Chief Minister said that smart cards worth Rs 10,00,000 would be provided to those children who are educated, so that there would be no hindrance in their studies. Smart cards have been given to thousands of students. Around 20,000 more smart cards will be provided soon. He said that smart cards would be given to these students by next week.

Government has brought many schemes for students

Mamta Banerjee said that students will get benefits under schemes like Kanyashree, Shikshashree, Sabuj Saathi etc. The Chief Minister said that mobile phones would be provided to the ICDS and ASHA workers by the government so that they could communicate with the common people. The Chief Minister said that widow allowance, farmer allowance, pension scheme etc. are being given to the common people. People are also getting benefit of Jai Johar Laxmi Bhandar Yojana.

To take advantage of the schemes, apply to the government

The Chief Minister said that those who are deprived of the schemes of the government, they should go to the government camp. Submit your application. They will also get the benefit of the above schemes. People who applied in the government camp are getting caste certificate in a month.

Central government is not giving money for MNREGA

The Chief Minister took a jibe at the BJP government at the Centre. Said that the central government is not giving money for 100 days of MNREGA. The Chief Minister alleged that 6 months have passed, but till now the laborers here have arrears of money for 100 days' work. The Chief Minister said that BJP has no right to sit on the throne if it cannot release the workers' money soon.

Ujjwala Yojana Central Government's Flop Show

The Central Government has also stopped the money of Bangla Awas Yojana, Bangla Sadak Yojana etc. She said that the BJP failed in the plan to divide Bengal by coming to Bengal. This is the reason why it is not sending money for the schemes running in the name of Bengal. The Chief Minister said that the Ujjwala gas scheme is a flop show of the central government.

BJP intimidates opponents with CBI

The Chief Minister said that if anyone speaks against the BJP, the CBI is put behind him. BJP is doing arbitrariness. The Chief Minister advised the failed students of secondary and higher secondary to work harder. Said that if we work hard for one more year, then their result will be good. The Chief Minister also criticized the Agneepath scheme.
