Police search for armed student after incident at Los Angeles High School
The Los Angeles High School campus was placed on lockdown for an incident with an allegedly armed student; LAPD officers searched the school campus
The Los Angeles High School campus was closed this Wednesday morning due to the activity of Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers who were searching for three students, one of them allegedly armed with a gun.
LAPD officers responded at approximately 8:15 a.m. to the 1100 block of West Boulevard, near West Olympic Boulevard, in Mid-Wilshire, after receiving reports of an assault with a deadly weapon involving four teenagers.
The LAPD confirmed that the high school suspended its activities due to the response of officers, with the closure of South Rimpau Boulevard, from the intersection with Edgewood Place.
