An immigrant in custody reported what appears to be unsafe water being given to people in custody at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Processing Center in Adelanto, San Bernardino County.
Carlitos Ricardo Parias, who is detained at the ICE facility awaiting deportation to Mexico, showed what appear to be maggots inside a bottle of supposedly potable water provided to people held at Adelanto.
Parias remains in the ICE Processing Center in Southern California despite the recent dismissal of a federal assault charge against him.
