The playoffs closed on Monday, September 15, with the re-entry of Paco Pizana to the Top Chef VIP 4 competition. Three eliminated contestants were reinstated alongside Pizana. We're talking about Yany Prado and Valeria Cuevas.

Paco's return to the competition has been unusual. He left claiming that his time on the reality show was over, only to return days later explaining that he was doing so like "the phoenix."

The personality or character that Paco built for this show didn’t allow me to believe the reasons he gave for leaving the competition with a disruptive dish.

It would have been believable if the process hadn’t been accompanied by polite words about the work that Lorena and Curvy had done that day. Especially since “old” Paco returned to the scene to say that his colleagues: Angelica, Curvy, and Lorena, had been hypocritical when they said goodbye to him.

Did Paco’s return and the “phoenix” plot shock me?

No! It was entirely predictable, as his reactions on social media to the massive hate his role in this competition has received made it clear that everything was ready to see him return, and in a dramatic way. He was the last one chosen to return!

Despite the above, the show is the show, and this one managed to give us drama, stress, and many more emotions that allow the viewer to stay connected to the program.

Given the way they entered, we understand that the final will indeed feature the names that have been leaked to the press in recent weeks. We're talking about Matias Ochoa,Salvador Zerboni, Cristina Porta, Paco Pizana, and Lorena Herrera.
