Patna. A speeding car trampled a student going on foot late on Saturday evening on Atal Path in Digha police station area. The speed of the car can be gauged from the fact that after the collision, one of the student's legs was cut off and fell on the service lane about 50 meters away. The deceased has been identified as 15-year-old Gaurav Kumar (father Ganesh Mahato), a resident of Ganga Vihar Colony.

At 7:30 pm, he had come to Atal Path from the service lane when a very high speed car coming from the side of Ganga Path hit him. Gaurav's leg got stuck in the car itself and the car started dragging him. Meanwhile, Gaurav's body split into two, hitting the iron divider between the service lane and Atal Path. His leg fell on the service lane and the rest of the body on the Atal Path and the car overtook it at high speed.

In this accident, the number plate and bumper of the car fell on the spot. Hearing the loud sound of the accident, people reached the spot and informed the police of Digha police station about the accident. Angered by this incident, people created a ruckus for a long time. Another car came in the grip of the anger of the people. The furious people broke his glass. It is said that Gaurav used to do small work along with studies.

As soon as Gaurav's death was reported, his mother and sister reached the spot. A day earlier, Gaurav had tied a rakhi to his sister. The same rakhi was tied in his hand, but his complexion had turned red with blood. Raising his hands, mother and sister were crying. The sister was crying over the body of her brother, while on the other hand, the mother was fainting. People were trying to bring the mother to her senses by sprinkling water.

The family became more angry when the ambulance did not reach even after half an hour and a pickup vehicle was sent instead. Seeing this, the family got furious and refused to take the dead body on him. Seeing the people getting angry, the team of Dial 112 immediately asked to send an ambulance, after which a big ambulance was sent. Police said that the number plate of the car showed that the car is in the name of Vishal Gaurav.

Angry over the death, the people first tried to block the road, but the police stopped them. After a while, people blocked the road coming from R-Block towards Digha. Angry people started breaking the green plastic leaves in the middle of Atal Path. Seeing the people creating a ruckus, the police resorted to lathi-charge. A young man who broke the glass of the car was taken into custody by the police.
