Teachers and community members of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) demanded this Tuesday the release of a high school senior who has been detained by federal immigration agents for two weeks.
Benjamin Marcelo Guerrero-Cruz, of Chilean origin, was arrested on August 8 by masked federal agents while walking his dog in the Van Nuys area.
The LAUSD student was scheduled to begin his senior year of high school at Reseda Charter High School on August 14.
