Sanctions target four individuals and four entities for sending support to FAR paramilitaries

Sudan's health ministry said the attack took place on Saturday in the residential area of Omdurman, a city near the capital Khartoum.

A seven-day ceasefire has been agreed between the army and the paramilitary force RSF in war-torn Sudan.

The Rapid Support Forces have said they also support extending the ceasefire and have been proposed by the US, Saudi Arabia, Norway, the UK and the UAE.

After a 72-hour ceasefire in violence-hit Sudan, the evacuation operation of Indians has begun.

So far 427 people have died in the violence in Sudan and more than 3700 people have been injured.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has also tweeted about the operation being carried out for the evacuation of Indians from Sudan.
